Getting around locally

A (rental) car is definitely recommended, as the nearest bus stop is in the town of Koroni and the nearest grocery stores and restaurants are about a 5-10-minute drive away.

There are numerous car rental options at Kalamata Airport. Access is via idyllic, yet rather narrow, access roads.

There is one free parking space per apartment in front of the house.

The villa is located in a scattered settlement on a hillside that gently slopes down to the Gulf of Messinia and offers breathtaking views of the sea and the opposite Mani.

The neighborhood is home to both native Greeks and people from Kalamata and Athens who have their summer residences here. The pristine beach is used almost exclusively by these residents. A few houses also offer units for rent.

There is wonderful fauna everywhere, including countless olive trees and beautiful flowering plants such as bougainvillea, lemon and orange trees.
